Can I use an awning in the rain?

Yes; however, common sense prevails as to how heavy the rain or wind is before deciding to retract the awning.

Will my Awning be safe in windy conditions?

All our electric awnings come with a FREE wind sensor adjusted to suit each installation. The wind sensor provides peace of mind that the awning is protected should it become too windy. When the winds become high the sensor will automatically retract your awning.

Can I have an awning if I only have a narrow wall?

Depending on how narrow your wall is we have a special retractable awning that starts from 1.9mtrs wide. We also have other drop arm awnings that start from 1 meter wide.

My house has a tiled fascia, can you fix an awning to it?

Berkshire Awnings specialise in bespoke fits and much investment has gone towards training our staff to fit in various scenarious such as tiled facias, PVC Clad Facias, Bungalow fixes and independent structures.

Can my awning be recovered?

All our awnings can be recovered at any time. We can sometimes recover Awnings previously installed by other companies.

Who will install my Awning?

All Berkshire Awnings are surveyed and installed by our own trained professionals who share a wealth of knowledge and experience spanning more than 25 years in the Awnings and Blinds industry.

Is my Awning guaranteed?

All Berkshire Awnings, unless otherwise stated are guaranteed for 5 years.
